Student Scholarship

GMD Development is proud to offer competitive scholarship awards of up to $2,500 to residents of our properties.

The goal is to give funds directly to the recipient for use in any capacity they find helpful to keep school a manageable reality. Students living in affordable housing may rely on scholarships like this to cover what isn’t addressed by government loans or grants. Anything from textbooks, rent, car repairs, or childcare may be paid for with these funds.

How it Works

To apply, residents provide a letter of recommendation and write essay answers to narrative questions surrounding their school experience to date, how the money will be useful to them, and what they’re looking forward to about their education. Recipients will be awarded based on application quality and financial need.

This scholarship is available to part-time students living at our properties and enrolling in post-high school coursework for the upcoming term. This could include community college, trade school, university, technical college, training program, etc.

2023 Scholarships are now closed.
